Anonymity
When you use www.bronderslevbib.dk, we register your computer's IP address in the server's log file. The log files are typically only viewed by our statistics program Webtrekk. Searches in the library system Cicero are anonymous. Brønderslev Library does not record any data that can be used to identify you. Personal data is not disclosed or sold to third parties.

If needed, you can use secure mail via borger.dk to contact us. Please note: Never send sensitive personal information such as CPR numbers via regular email.

Encryption of Sensitive Data
We encrypt the websites used to transmit sensitive data to ensure that outsiders cannot intercept the communication between the user and the library, for example, when you check your loan status or reserve materials.

Statistics
To further develop and improve www.bronderslevbib.dk, we collect statistics on how users use the site. The statistics are solely used to see which pages, functions and browsers our users utilize the most.

Brønderslev Bibliotek sends out newsletters with relevant information and inspiration. You can actively choose to subscribe or unsubscribe. Please note that the newsletter is in Danish.

By subscribing to one or more of the library's newsletters, you agree that your email address will be registered and that we will send you newsletters. Our newsletters contain pixels that track how many people open the newsletters, when they are opened, which links are clicked on, whether it is done from a mobile device or desktop, and which operating system is used. We use this information to analyze which news items recipients open and which articles they click on. This data is used to plan future newsletters.

Your email address and information about opening newsletters, clicking links, device, and operating system are not used for any other purposes than those described and are not disclosed to others.
